Pour l'Eglise Catholique, Homosexualité = VIOL

Publié en France le 1er septembre, la version courte du Catéchisme de l'Eglise Catholique a créé de vives réactions au sein de l'association gay catholique David et Jonathan, qui juge "inacceptable et gratuitement cruel" les paragraphes 492 à 494. Après avoir rappelé que l'usage de la contraception est interdit, l'adultère bannit et le divorce "une offense à la dignité du mariage", le texte de l'Eglise Catholique met sur le même niveau de gravité l'homosexualité et le viol. On peut lire dans le paragraphe 492 : " Les pêchers qui sont serieusement à l'encontre de la chasteté, chacun selon la nature de son objet sont l'adultère, la masturbation, la fornication, la pornographie, la prostitution, le viol et les actes homosexuels. Ces pêchers sont l'expression du vice de la luxure." David et Jonathan repond que "la volonté d'empêcher l'épanouissement de la sexualité d'une personne est comme enlever une part essentielle de cette même personne. C'est au travers des "actes" que la rencontre de "l'autre" peut avoir lieu, toujours dans le respect et qui peut amener à une vraie relation de confiance et d'amour."

For the Catholic Church, Homosexuality = RAPE

Published in France on September the 1st, the short version of the Catholic Church Catechism created a harsh reaction among the Catholic gay association David et Jonathan, which judges "unaccpetable and gratuitously cruel" the stanzas 492 to 494 of the text. After having reminded that the use of contraception is prohibited, adultery banished and divorce "an offense to the weeding's dignity", the text by the Catholic Church puts on the same level of seriousness, homosexuality and rape. It can thus be read §492 : " sins which are seriously against chastity, each according to the nature of its object are adultery, masturbation, fornication, pornography, prostitution, rape and homosexual acts. These sins are the expressions of the vice of luxury." David et Jonathan answered that "willing to prevent the blossoming of somebody's sexuality is to cut an essential part off someone. it is through the 'acts' that the encounter of "the other" is sparkled off, always to be respected, and which can lead to a true relationship of confidence and love."
